The empty spot in the Buffaloes football schedule didn’t stay empty for long.
It was announced on Thursday that Saturday’s game with USC had been canceled due to COVID-19 issues. News soon followed that the conference matchup with the Trojans had been replaced with a non-conference game.
San Diego State is headed to Boulder on Saturday with kickoff set for 3 p.m.
It will mark the second time the two programs have met on the football field. Colorado won the first game, 34-14, in 2002.
